Rhein Percussion formed in the Fall of 2011 at California Institute of the Arts. Members Amir Oosman, Dan Ogrodnik and Joshua Carro met during their Masters; studying with world-renown specialists Swapan Chaudhuri and Randy Gloss(Hands On'Semble). Rhein composes music for percussive, melodic, and electronic instruments, combining influences from India, Africa, Puerto Rico, Iran and more.
